Mozilla Firefox is a web browser that brings many features Internet Explorer doesn't offer. In addition to that it provides a much safer web experience.

It's fully customizable and gets more features by installing so-called add-ons.

To download Firefox click the download button:

After the download start the setup and follow the instructions. When you're done start Firefox. It will ask you if you want to import the favorites from your old browser. Click "Yes" and continue.

Now the browser should start with all your favorites in the bookmarks toolbar.

Next click on Tools -> Add-ons

The dialogue should start with Adblock als recommended add-on. Otherwise click on "Get Add-ons"(1) and then in the search box, enter "Adblock" and press enter. Scroll down and click on "Add to Firefox" (2).

Wait until the counter in the popup reaches zero and the "Install" button becomes active and  then click (1) on it.

Now back in the add-on window click the search box and enter "wot" (1). Scroll down to and click "Add to Firefox" (2) once again. Repeat the steps from Adblock and then click "Restart Firefox" (3).

Wait for it to restart and in the popup click accept.

Wait for a new website to open. There select basic (1), click next (2) and...

... then the red x (1).

Close the tab and switch the one asking you which lists you want to subscribe. Choose the right one for your language (if in doubt choose EasyList) (1) and then click subscibe (2).

If you look at your browser there a green ring next to your address bar (2). It shows you if you can trust a website. You can also see this ring in your Google search results (1).

For detailed info on a website click the ring icon:

If the ring is yellow or red you shouldn't enter private information on the current website. Some sites are even blocked by WOT.

Just close websites like that!!!!

And no go and have fun with your new, safer browser!
