Windows Update
To keep your PC safe you should regularily check for updates. To do this follow these steps:
Windows 7 and Vista:
Open the start menu by clicking the windows logo in the bottom left of your screen and type "Windows Update" and then enter.
In the new window click "Check for Updates" (1).
Wait for it to finish and then click "Install Updates" (1).

Windows XP:
Either click here or open the start menu by clicking the "Start" button in the bottom left of your screen and search for Windows Update and then open it.
In the Internet Explorer Window that opens click "Express" and wait for it to finish.
Then click install updates and wait until it's finished.
It will ask you to restart your PC once it's done. Save all your documents before doing that!
